Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for (MEP Services) HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Building Management System, CCTV and Access control design for Commercial, IT Park, Hospitals, Science parks, High Rises, stadiums, and Industrial projects
  • Responsible for handling designing of Services (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting & ELV) portion of the contract with the client as per the agreement.
  • Preparation and checking of Concept Design Report, Space Planning, System Design, selection of equipment like Chillers, Primary and Secondary Pumps, AHU, Ventilation fans, VRF, VAV etc.
  • Preparation of MOEF Report for MEP Service, tender document, technical Specification, BOQ for the Job, Budget Estimation for the work
  • Preparation of tender drawings including space planning, invitation of tenders, Tender negotiations, Techno Commercial discussion and finalization of vendor.
  • Co-ordination with Project management team during execution of work and provide technical consultation.
  • Approval of Technical Submittals for the items of work, approval and issue of GFC drawings for the project during execution stage (Prepared by the successful vendor based on the design drawings)
  • Interface between the client, consultants and project team for MEP related issues to ensure good customer relationship.
  • Manage the budget of Services and the margins for the project as per the pre-decided estimates.
  • Project execution for services domain as per the stipulated norms of contract pertaining to cost, timeline & quality.
  • Responsible for team management.
  • Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering functions.
  • Experience of Design and project management in Services of buildings & Industrial establishments.
  • Knowledge of all statutes for Buildings and construction industry.
  • Understanding of the project commercials and contracts.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deliver to set deadlines
  • Ability for resource mobilization and utilization.
  • Strong interpersonal, report writing and statistical analysis skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Proven ability in multitasking and prioritizing workload.
  • Proven ability in judgement / decision making on a variety of issues within tight deadlines.
  • Team management skills
  • Knowledge of MEP Design software
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
